When I reflect upon my nearly four decades in the logistics industry, I notice many of the advancements that technology has provided us.  The instant access and visibility that our customers have now is a far cry from the Cardomax machine that we used in the ‘70s to track inventory.  But as I reflect, I also recognize that the things that distinguish us now are the same as they were when I first got into the business – customer service, flexibility, and a desire to get the job done.  These traits haven’t diminished in value over the years, and in fact, have grown even more important as our customers are looking to achieve lean supply chains and JIT inventory requirements.
