People are Priceless
It’s no secret that the logistics business is equipment-heavy. Whether it’s the software systems we use to track every item entrusted to us or the big rigs that carry them, there is an increasingly long list of things, of tangible objects, that we have invested in.But looking at that list, that long litany of things we own or operate, it becomes obvious that our greatest asset can’t be assigned quantifiable worth. It’s people that make RBW. It’s people that generate the energy and enthusiasm for what we do. It’s people that come up with innovative solutions and new ways to streamline established infrastructures.
I mean, how can you put a price on that?
RBW will always have trucks and lifts and warehouse aisles. There will always be specialized machines that sort or shred or configure. But without our people, those things are useless, just so much heavy metal. We succeed because of the intangibles. We succeed because of our people.
Our investment in our people is a difference maker too. Many of our employees have been with our company for many years. It's because we investment in there: skills, knowledge, and careers. There have been examples of current employees who started off as temp workers. They worked hard and continued to learn and we brought them aboard our team. A lot of other 3PL provider's warehouse workers are temp labor. We believe in bringing a worker aboard our team if the effort and performance is there.
This is one of the many details that sets RBW Logistics apart from other 3PL providers.
