From the now common practice of recycling to more ambitious projects like Google attempting to get off the grid, being environmentally friendly has never been more important. In the world of logistics, there's been an interesting development: edible, biodegradable packaging peanuts. That's right. What's so great about these things? Well, they're replacing styrofoam, which lasts about eon and will never, ever break down in a landfill. The green packaging peanuts are made from rice or corn and biodegrade in a flash. Also, they're delicious? Maybe, maybe not.
